Rutabagas for Jim, Caaandy for Us

We like it when Jim gets a story published. Becoo then he wants us to advertise for him, which means we get caaaandy!

*much bouncing up and down of Bears*

Jim's short short "No Choice" was published in FlashShot today. FlashShot mails out a new 100 word story every day. The last 10 stories are kept online, if you want to check out Jim's story from today.

Also, Jim wrote a couple of pieces--"The Silver Goblet" and "The Rutabaga of Baba Yaga"--to enter in the monthly flash fiction contest on Louise Bohmer's Dark Prose. "The Silver Goblet" was a runner-up for May, and is posted here. And "The Rutabaga of Baba Yaga" won for June, and is posted here--it's the July 15th entry. (Note: Rutabaga is not Bears' approprioo.)

OK Bye
Stompy

I was glancing away from the screen as this page loaded, and so misread "rutabagas" as "rugrats", and got VERY confused!

I couldn't find your story...but I'm also in a bit of a rush to get Miss Ems to an appointment. Congratulations though I'm very pleased and impressed. Besides it sounds like your stories are a hell of a lot more interesting than the avian flu pandemic. [grimace]

Miss you.
